Sasha Woods was born and raised in Illinois, and has been intrigued by
God’s symmetry and patterns in nature, exhibited in the subject matter she photographs. She has been photographing nature, for thirty some odd years, and has taken several classes in photography.

One class, in high school, or perhaps 8th grade, was focused on black and white photography, so she and a friend went down to the Lake Michigan beach and proceeded to click away at all the beautiful autumn leaves on trees. Vibrant reds, golds, oranges, and yellows were captured on black and white film. Oh well, it was still a lot of fun.
